You Were Away is an EP that I wrote and recorded during the last two weeks of June.

My girlfriend was on the other side of the world to attend a wedding, and I was very alone. I spent about 2 days on each song, from beginning to end. I spent nights in my car recording vocals. Most evenings consisted of sitting in front of my computer trying to mix everything together.

This is the first time I've ever finished a music project. It's rough, sounds bad in places, and isn't even 10 minutes long. I was in a vulnerable place when I recorded this. But I'm proud of the fact that I found the will to finish this, and I'm glad you came by to at least have a look.
